2-11-2010 House Mouse and Friends Blog Challenge

I made this card for a House Mouse and Friends Blog Hop and Challenge. The deadline is 2-14-10 so hurry and go check it out. The DT girls have done an amazing job.

Stamps are House Mouse Blueberry Delight HMUR1068 and Eat Dessert First QR1057. I stamped them with Graphite Black Archival Brilliance Ink and colored them with Prismacolor pencils: sand, ginger root, bronze, blush pink, peach beige, chocolate, seashell pink, copenhagen blue. I also used a white gelly roll pen, fine glitter, my Cuttlebug with distressed stripes and textile embossing folders, my Creative Memories Oval Cutter, as well as used some buttons and ribbon from my stash. Oh yeah, and a frequent favorite of mine.... Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo.

Great Organizer Idea for flowers, buttons, etc 11-8-09

Okay....so when I was in PA I was trying to help mom get her stuff organized. We swiped these awesome picture containers from dads stash and decided they'd be great for buttons, flowers, etc. The boxes aren't real expensive and you can use a coupon on them at Michaels, AC Moore, and JoAnn's. I'm gonna steal this idea for my own stash. Pretty cool huh !!!!

10-12-09 Christmas Candles Birthday Card

Okay...this one was so much fun. I used two of my circle punches and my photo corner punch from Stampin Up, a Candle Stamp from Michaels, some gingerbread buttons from JoAnn's that I cut that backs off of, some ribbon, and of course some distress ink and glitter. I wasn't sure how this one was going to work and just kept adding and moving things around til it all seemed to fit together. I'm happy with the end result.

I think after the holidays I may have to start getting a little more specific in my details and maybe start doing some videos? I don't know....I'm kinda a haphazard scrapper....things just come together. Most often, there is no method to my madness.

My bp hasn't been behaving itself and I had a rough night earlier with some chest pain. Feeling better now so I promised my husband I wouldn't push it too far. Although, I'd love to finish that last card for work.

Another Tri-Fold Birthday Card 9-1-09

This is a card for one of our boss people at work =0) I always make a fairly big card so that the whole office can sign it. I'm trying to come up with some different patterns, pull out some old toys, etc. I used an old CM cutter on this one for the wave. I really need to pull that out more often. I like the look. I really need to stop playing for the day and get some work done around the house. It is always so hard to stop when the mojo is flowing. I need to get stuff done for a shower at work today though.

7-12-09 Another Card and Corner Bookmark

I'm on a roll today! Woo Hoo. Gonna have to take a break and watch True Blood soon but I have a feeling it is going to be a long night =0) My mojo is flowing good today!
Here is another card I came up with trying to use up some of my scraps. I may add some stuff to the inside. Not sure yet. The other is a little fairy stamp I got in a stamped image swap on a corner bookmark. The corner book marks are so much fun to make and fun to use.
