2-11-2010 House Mouse and Friends Blog Challenge

I made this card for a House Mouse and Friends Blog Hop and Challenge. The deadline is 2-14-10 so hurry and go check it out. The DT girls have done an amazing job.

I hope you like my entry.

Stamps are House Mouse Blueberry Delight HMUR1068 and Eat Dessert First QR1057. I stamped them with Graphite Black Archival Brilliance Ink and colored them with Prismacolor pencils: sand, ginger root, bronze, blush pink, peach beige, chocolate, seashell pink, copenhagen blue. I also used a white gelly roll pen, fine glitter, my Cuttlebug with distressed stripes and textile embossing folders, my Creative Memories Oval Cutter, as well as used some buttons and ribbon from my stash. Oh yeah, and a frequent favorite of mine.... Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo.

Enjoy your blog hop!!! I know I did. Good luck to everyone that is entering!!!
Hugs,
Sherry

Christmas cards for a friends son at work 9-21-09

A girl at works son made the people in his family birdhouses for Christmas. She asked if I had any stamps that would make good Christmas cards for him. She only needed 6 of them, so I whipped these together. I just LOVE House Mouse! The card bases are the packs of 10 cards that you can get at Michaels. The rest is cardstock, ribbon, etc. from my stash. They didn't take too long to do and were a lot of fun. She said they were perfect =0)
When she asked me how much I wanted for each I had no idea. I'm sooooooo horrible at that. I told her just to catch up with me later and whatever she felt was
appropriate would be fine. Any ideas girls ? How do you price your stuff?
Hugs,
Sherry

Birthday card for Joy at work 9-09

This is another card I made for a girl at work. I really love trying out new techniques and trying to grow in my card making. I should be able to get caught up on postings this weekend....poor hubby is sick and we don't have anything going on now....had to cancel all our plans.

The ribbon is really pretty. It is a felt material by Recollections. It is kinda fragile, so you have to be careful not to pull on it....it will rip.

Let me know what you think of it.

Hugs,
Sherry
