Getting back in the swing of things :)

I've been working my new full time day job since April and am finally getting into the swing of things enough to get this blog back up and running. I promise I've had time to play in my scrap room. I've just been lazy. I take pics with my cell and it's easier to post them to facebook than signing into my blog. Hmmmm....need to see if there's an app to do it. Anyways....I'm just going to post a bunch of the stuff I've worked on. Maybe I will try to post descriptions later.

Have a great day!

Cards 11-12-10

I'm going to try and get a bunch of stuff posted. I've been terrible about keeping up with my blog. I don't find a lot of time to play, but when I do I really enjoy it. It's my escape....

September work birthday cards 9-9-10

Theses are birthday cards for work that I finally had the time to sit and do. The butterfly cards is from a print out at Craftsuprint There are so many cool things on there! And the prices at CUP aren't bad either. Once you pay and download them, they are yours to use as much as you want. The other is a House Mouse stamp that is from my momma's collection. I love HM stamps! I really need to start playing the lottery so I can buy them all. Hope you like them.

New A2 cards 8-19-10

The little heart cards were a scraplift from JenniferMcguireInk. I made a template to cut on the Cricut and had some Fiskars Zings Sticker Accents to go around the heart. I printed the saying on the computer. Cute and very quick to put together.

The second card is also scraplifted from another blog that I can't remember now. It was a twist with using a cupcake top as the top of an ice cream cone. Can't believer I've never thought of doing that. The cone was super easy to draw.

Of course, all coloring was done with my copic markers.

It feels good to be in my room some again.

Hope you are having a great day.

3-21-10 Anniversary and other new cards.

This is going to be our 18th Anniversary. Still not sure what I'm getting my hubby but the card is done at least. I hope he likes it. He is very good to me and we are very blessed. Love him bunches !!!!

The other cards are just what ever cards. Trying to use up some of my stamped images and to actually use some of my cut files. Lol. I'm getting ready to change from a part time evening job to a full time day job. I know my fun time will be more limited to say the least. I'm taking advantage of my free time I have now. Hope you like them. Feel free to ask me any questions about what stamps etc. where used as I don't have time to look them up at the moment.

Hope you have a great day!

2 new Easel Cards 2-25-10

I think the Easel Card is one of my new favorites to make. It is so easy but so much fun. The birthday card is for my ?????? for her birthday. I've got some other stuff to make to go with it but will post it later on. The other card is for a girl I've known since highschool. She is very dear to my heart and one of the sweetest and most giving people I know. This is a thank you for being such a great friend. She has even done some stuff for my parents that really meant a lot to us.

Hope you all have a great day!

Digital Stamp Anniversary Card

This is one of my favorite Digi Stamps. I think it is from Mo's Digital Pencil and is called Jack and Ginger. Digi stamps are cool because there is no clean up, they can be resized however you want them, and you don't have to worry about getting a perfect impression! Love it. This is for some dear friends of mine in Oklahoma that I miss so much.
I colored it with BIC markers....some day I will graduate to copics ;)
Enjoy,
Sherry

scrap paper cards 1-19-10

Okay....so I need to use up some of my scrap paper. I mean I have a huge under bed storage container full. I'm obsessed with paper. I can't throw it out if there may be a use for it. Big pieces, little pieces, it doesn't really matter. I do try to look in there before I cut a new sheet, but it just seems to multiply anyway.

I did use a new sheet of 8.5 x 11 brown cardstock for the base of these cards and the images are from a swap. The rest of the paper is from my scrap box.

I hope you like them!

Christmas cards for a friends son at work 9-21-09

A girl at works son made the people in his family birdhouses for Christmas. She asked if I had any stamps that would make good Christmas cards for him. She only needed 6 of them, so I whipped these together. I just LOVE House Mouse! The card bases are the packs of 10 cards that you can get at Michaels. The rest is cardstock, ribbon, etc. from my stash. They didn't take too long to do and were a lot of fun. She said they were perfect =0)
When she asked me how much I wanted for each I had no idea. I'm sooooooo horrible at that. I told her just to catch up with me later and whatever she felt was
appropriate would be fine. Any ideas girls ? How do you price your stuff?
Hugs,
Sherry
